The Maameltein Bridge.
I took this picture in the fall of 2004.This is the Maameltein bridge.
The bridge that connects North Lebanon,
to pretty much the rest of the country.
It was bombed yesterday by Israeli Jet Fighters,
leaving behind a number of dead, wounded, and distraught.
The bridge stands destroyed and dysfunctional, and therefore unusable.
The bridges of Batroun, and Halat were also destroyed,
which makes the crossing to and from the north quasi impossible.

Total Isolation.
Total obliteration.

And there will be a lot more to come.

Man, just like many others, I have been on those roads so many times, i cant believe they stand no more...
_z, a bomb lands next to haifa but it didn't blow, they get the bomb squad to diffuse it and they read a AF11 stamp on it..they freaked out.
finally they got an arab and he said, this is a zilzal katyusha not a bomb and it means ayri fikon wa7ad wa7ad
