I frankly didn't like Time's choice for person of the year. I think it was an easy way out for them, probably cause they couldn't make thier mind up on one particular personality. We can't though disregard YOUR (yes YOU :) ) contribution to knowledge through wikipedia, blogs, personal websites etc... It's very neat that much of the information that we obtain nowadays through the net is contributed by people like you and me who spend a considerable amount of time to give in our 2 cents on a particular issue or share our experiences or expertise to help or entertain others.

joe you're right, it was an easy way out. But as you put it, this year there has been a huge boom in blogging, and youtube and the like of servers and hosts. And you know that bloggers and activsts did play a major role in the last july war. so yeah, some deserve the credit, although putting it this way, as Times did, is very artificial and non gratifiying. but what can they do.

By the way, I learned about your 2 cents show the 30LL, just two days before I left, so I didn't get the chance to listen to it. It is also ridiculous to try and download podcasts in Lebanon. Will get to that as soon as I go back to Montreal.

I am sure it is very interesting as are all your projects.
