I love how you can tell so much with your drawings.
[I don't want to sound picky, but I think there might be one line missing from your translation, under the "At first" heading. Something about counting money, judging from your illustration...]

i think my new strategy is to forget about home and accept life here and if i had the chance to go back one day, it'll be a nice surprise :)

it is very sad indeed. what I said to gitanes is my wish and I am sure the wish of many other Lebanese. how to get there.. this is the question. I find it very hard to acheive with the ruling mentality.
