Bravo ziz... always an fan. Not sure if you intended that, but Lebanon is a négative of a picture, never the picture itself...

3 squares is becoming your theme, I guess. Three is a good number.

But what if I give you 2 circles and 2 straight lines... what can you make out of it ? :-) R.

Ok ok, I’ll design your bloody glasses already! (Just joking... I’ll get to it soon, I promise)

Yes Lebanon is in white, placed in a dark environment and background to separate it from everything else. In the story the Lebanese guy that drew it, placed it on a pedestal and separated it from everything else. A work of art. A ideal. Lebanon on its own is the ideal country he has in mind.

Le petit prince is sceptical. He does not believe it is a country. it has no unity, no independence, nor does it work well within its context. Therefore "ceci n'est pas un pays" it is a drawing of a possible country. It is a drawing of a country, but does not necessarily represent one...

Too much bullshit?

c'est ce sentiment inexplicable. home..simply..the only place i feel safe. and serene even in the midst of chaos. the place i carry in my heart wherever i go..ce qui fait mes yeux briller, que ce soient des larmes de joie ou de peine..qui m'explique et me justifie..

:) Nice drawing _z.
An the prince's skepticism is completely justified my friend.

theoretically, a country is defined by a group of ppl, united, living in the same virtual boundaries set by themselves with the acceptance and the acknowledgment of an international committee.
for the actual and sentimental reply, please read gitalnes' answer.

merci kteer. je sais ben ben k tu niaises po lo.
