At the risk of sounding like a complete dilettante, I like the depth effect in the first one. As for the second, if you use the f9 key on your Mac and thereby make the pic smaller, it looks like a nice abstract painting, which is how it struck me when I saw it in regular size. Nic~e ya fannan!
now.. while we're on about undergarments..

as tony bey said, the depth effect in the first is very nice. I also like how the socks match with the carpet.
true, the first one's angle and perspective is pretty luring. In the second one, I kept looking for a hole on the big toe :P I donno why
