lirun_ you're more than welcome to visit... do you still have ties to here?
pouzy_ it is beautiful isn't it? I actually now consider it a privilege to be living here. Now that I've seen so many other places, I consider us lucky.
I actually just checked your other blog. I have a question, which I should have posed there but I am too lazy to go back there lol. You may want to respond there though. But why were you denied entry because you're Lebanese?
Also, have you written anything on China? Any photos?
posh_ Yeah I am back for a while... it was a hectic and very unpredictable summer... tiring and I am glad I finally found my way home... I may have to be on the road soon though. I always tell myself that I am going to blog while traveling, but never get around on doing so... For peru we were not well informed by the peruvian consulate, and being canadian residents, we should not have needed visas to Peru (as it is the case to all Latin America), but the immigration officer saw red whenever she swiped our lebanese passports, and didn't want to see beyond that... so we were turned back to Montreal via mexico... upon arrival to mexico, and instead of taking the next plane to montreal, we decided to kick back there for a while...
China! I have around 3400 photos... and I did write a bit in Shanghai (i had a bit more time) but never posted on my blog... instead I sent emails to close friends... The thing is, I have "privacy" issues... I don't know if I am right or not, but this is a problem i am trying to manage... if you are interested, I can email you some of the letters I sent from there... I don't know why, but whenever it is too private, I just refrain from blogging (which perhaps betrays the idea of blogging to begin with)... Also, to my mind it is something that happened in the past... and so, it is no use blogging about it now... any advice on that matter?
