the map IS a beautiful graphic, but it seems ... i don't know .. an incomplete picture of things...

IBJ what do you mean and incomplete picture of things. it is a drawing, mapping only the built form in Beirut; leaving out streets and empty lots.
if you're interested, I can provide a bigger format of the map.
zee, no I like the book thing. I'll get to it soon enough. I just checked the book I am reading, and on P:123 there is an image. A picture. I'll scan it and copy the captions.
