I Am Going Home.

I am going home. Blog you from there.
It's funny! My Beirut is shaped like a heart.

I leave you with this enchanting performance by Saudi singer Ibrahim el Hakami, the winner of Superstar 2005. [Superstar is the Lebanese version of American Idol].

This map was part of my urban design thesis at UofT.
"A walk... to Remember";
Exorcising Forgetfulness: Re-Tracing the Memory of the Lebanese War.

thank you guys... I hope I'll have fun too... so far it doesn't look like it. Let's hope things change.

coco yeah i was at UT. I moved to Montreal only a year and a half ago... I wanted to change, and I found a cool job.

will do joe... I'll kiss both Ns for you eza baddak.

IBJ what do you mean and incomplete picture of things. it is a drawing, mapping only the built form in Beirut; leaving out streets and empty lots.
if you're interested, I can provide a bigger format of the map.
