Can anyone give me hints on how to upload music to blogs? I used to upload through odeo, but for some reason it is not working anymore. How are you guys going on about it?
I have a page on googlepages and I upload my music there and then I copy the link location into a html code of the odeo player. I don't think googlepages are open to subscriptions anymore because they are migrating into a new service. I don't know when but it should be available soon I guess.
i do the same with other sites.. it used to be easier - there was blog music and odeon and stuff like that.. but its better this way.. songs that play automatically canbe annoying..
i think musicians also want the play count to appear on their sites.. it makes them lok more popular which is important if you want to gt signed.. so ur doing them a favour..
here's the code i use:- If you go through the code you will see that there are two links (each is repeated twice). Do the following:-
One link is for the .swf file. Do the following:-
1- download the file from the following address: http://sites.google.com/site/lemondedejimbo/dewplayer.swf
2- save on your drive
3- then upload to your own host server such as google sites
4- copy the link of the uploaded .swf file and keep paste it in the code (twice)
This task should be done once only. Now you can upload songs to your preferred host server (such as google sites) and each time you want to use the code, paste the song's link in the code (twice).
Your code is now ready to be included within your post (obviously, when editing your post, you should click on "Edit html" prior to pasting the code).
